Identification of Pests and Diseases Crystal Guava (Psidium guajava L.) in Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency

Pests and diseases that attack Crystal Guava are the main obstacles in increasing agricultural productivity, as well disrupting plant physiology growth. The purpose of this study was to identify pests crystal guava (Psidium guajava L). conducted for 3 months, (June-August) 2022 three gardens Gemawang Village, Dukuh, Ngargoyoso District, Karangayar. Data were obtained from observations samples crystals fruit attacked by diseases, interviews with owners managers obtain information about cultivation planting harvest. results research found several L.), including: Frogs (Cynopterus spp.), Fruit flies (Bactrocera dorsalis), caterpillars (Setora nitens), ladybugs (Helopeltis sp.), sac (Lepidopthera: Psychide), shoot (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), mealybugs (Paracoccus marginatus). morphology due nutrient deficiency (potassium/magnesium); black spot rot fungus Collectrichum gleosporioides Penz, canker (scab) Pestalotiopsis psidii (pat) Mordue, red rust algae Chephaleurus virescens, wilt disease Fusarium sp, Cercospora psidii. Treatment carried out once a week, applying NPK gandasil fertilizers spraying regent 50 insecticides, Yasithrin Fostin. wrapping young fruit. plantations can reduce production, therefore be used material novice farmers who want develop picking tours both on their yards.
